Story:
High in Ethiopia’s Gedeo Zone, 2,400 smallholder farmers hand-pick peak-ripe cherries at elevations up to 2,349 meters, where fertile soil and mountain rains nourish exceptional coffee.
At the Gargari Gutity washing station (1,983 m.a.s.l.), an expert team transforms these cherries across 180 raised drying beds using washed, natural, honey, and carbonic maceration methods—crafting a rich, vibrant spectrum of flavors that celebrate the region’s unique terroir.
