Plain-language draft, 3 October 2026. To be checked by a lawyer before launch.
Bought on the roaster’s own site
Listings that say View at roaster take you to the roaster’s own shop. That sale is with the roaster, so their returns policy applies and they handle any problem. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act stay the same.
Bought on CoffeeBea.nz
The roaster roasts and ships your coffee, and we look after you if something goes wrong. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act your coffee must be of acceptable quality and match its description, including the roast date shown.
- Damaged, wrong or not as described: we arrange a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
- Older than the roast date or dispatch window promised: a replacement or a refund.
- Never arrived: if tracking shows no delivery after ten working days, a replacement or a refund.
- Changed your mind: coffee is perishable, so we cannot take back opened bags. Tell us before it ships and we will cancel it.
To ask for a refund or replacement, reply to your order email or write to [email protected] with your order number and, for damage, a photo. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five working days.
