Description
Smallholder farmers hand-pick each cherry at peak ripeness, delivering it to the wet mill the same day it’s harvested. From there it’s pulped, fermented and washed before moving to raised African beds for a slow sun dry, turned by hand and shielded from the harsh midday heat.
Adumu AB is a considered blend, pulled together from several of these smallholder-producing areas and graded at the dry mill to extract only the AB beans. Grown between 1,550 and 2,000 metres, in a climate that swings from 13 to 24°C with rainfall split across two seasons, it’s a coffee shaped by altitude as much as it is by hands.
