Tasting Note:
Aromas of blackcurrant, warm spices, and a wine-like character. Flavors of bittersweet chocolate and caramel layered with subtle blackcurrant notes, leading to a long finish of roasted nuts and sweet lemon zest.
Story:
Mbeya and Mbinga are regions in southern Tanzania, known as the Southern Highlands due to their high altitude.
These areas are renowned for their fertile, deep red volcanic soils, abundant rainfall, and an extended dry season.
The producers in these regions are primarily subsistence farmers who depend on coffee production as their main source of income.
